Module 1: Introduction to Maltese Language (EQF/MQF Level 1, 1ECTS, 25 Total Learning hours)
During this module the participants will be introduced to the main and basic first words in Maltese language. Their meaning, usage and pronunciation will be explained.
The focus of this module will be on the basic grammar rules and how to apply them correctly. The participants will learn how to write, read and pronounce them in the right way.
Module 3: Practising Listening and Speaking (EQF/MQF Level 1, 1ECTS, 25 Total Learning hours)
On this module, the participants will be presented to common Maltese phrases which can be used during their daily life. The meaning and the right use of these phrases regarding different situations to help the participants to expand their knowledge.
Module 4: First Sentences (EQF/MQF Level 1, 1ECTS, 25 Total Learning hours)
Using their knowledge up to this point, the participants will be able to create simple sentences, using the words learnt and applying the grammar accordingly. They will be able to present themselves in Maltese and talking about their life or daily routine at work.
Module 5: Cultural Overview (EQF/MQF Level 1, 1ECTS, 25 Total Learning hours)
The participants will be presented to an overview of Maltese culture. They are going to have a detailed information regarding Maltese tradition, culture, customs and lifestyle.
